Q: What new skills did you learn, or new experiences did you have during the Covid-19 Quarantine?
A: I enjoyed some great moments with my family, like playing games and watching movies. I experimented with infusing vodka and bourbon, to varying degrees of success. And I tried my hand at woodworking. I built a barn door, some shed doors, a cornhole set, cutting boards, etc.
Q: What kind of music do you enjoy?
A: I’m a classically trained doublebass player. I’ve taught bass lessons for over 20 years and still perform occasionally. I listen to a broad range of musical styles but lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Americana music and have started exploring New Old Soul.
Q: What kind of races have you run?
A: I’ve run four marathons, a couple dozen half-marathons and several Ragnar Relay races. In 2019 I walked 100km of El Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain. ‘El Camino’ is not exactly a race, but it is a long distance and an awesome experience.
